śukle mārgaśire pakṣe
yoṣid bhartur anujñayā
ārabheta vratam idaṁ
sārva-kāmikam āditaḥ

niśamya marutāṁ janma
brāhmaṇān anumantrya ca
snātvā śukla-datī śukle
vasītālaṅkṛtāmbare
pūjayet prātarāśāt prāg
bhagavantaṁ śriyā saha
