ācārya-kalpita artha ye paṇḍita śune
mukhe 'haya' 'haya' kare, hṛdaya nā māne

Synonyms

ācārya-kalpita—imagined by Śaṅkarācārya; artha—meaning; ye paṇḍita śune—any learned person who hears; mukhe—only in the mouth; haya haya—yes it is, yes it is; kare—does; hṛdaya—his heart; māne—does not accept.

Translation

“All the interpretations of Śaṅkarācārya are imaginary. Such imaginary interpretations are verbally accepted by learned scholars, but they do not appeal to the heart.
