jyaiṣṭha-māsera dhūpe tāṅre kailā parīkṣaṇa
śakti sañcāriyā punaḥ pāṭhāilā vṛndāvana

Synonyms

jyaiṣṭha-māsera—of the month of May-June; dhūpe—in the sunshine; tāṅre—him; kailā—did; parīkṣaṇa—examining; śakti—potency; sañcāriyā—giving him; punaḥ—again; pāṭhāilā vṛndāvana—sent back to Vṛndāvana.

Translation

The Fourth Chapter also tells how Sanātana Gosvāmī was tested in the sunshine of Jyaiṣṭha [May and June] and was then empowered and sent back to Vṛndāvana.
