puchilā,—ki ājñā, kene haila āgamana?
'haridāse prasāda lāgi' kailā nivedana

Synonyms

puchilā—the Lord inquired; ki ājñā—what is your order; kenehaila āgamana—what is the reason you have come; haridāse prasāda lāgi'—for a favor to Junior Haridāsa; kailā nivedana—he made a request.

Translation

The Lord inquired, “What is your order? For what purpose have you come here?” Paramānanda Purī then submitted his prayer that the Lord show favor to Junior Haridāsa.
