Samadhi 三摩地 八部瑜伽修煉的最高階段“三摩地”的意思是“堅定心意”。 韋達詞典 Nirukti 說： “samyagādhīyate'sminnātma-tattva-yāthātmyam”， 意謂「心意堅定於認識“自我”便謂之“三摩地” 。」
