jhārikhaṇḍa-vanapathe āilā ekelā caliyā
kabhu upavāsa, kabhu carvaṇa kariyā

Translation

Sanātana Gosvāmī walked alone on the path through Jhārikhaṇḍa Forest in central India. Sometimes he fasted, and sometimes he would eat.
