rāya kahe,—“kaha dekhi bhāvera svabhāva?”
rūpa kahe,—“aiche haya kṛṣṇa-viṣayaka 'bhāva”

Translation

Rāmānanda Rāya inquired, “What are the characteristics of emotional love?” Rūpa Gosvāmī replied, “This is the nature of emotional love for Kṛṣṇa.
